Roy Bogue is a seasoned construction professional who hails from Wallingford, Connecticut. With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, Roy's career is a testament to his expertise and dedication.  He holds a degree from Southern Connecticut State University, where he also made a significant mark in athletics by being a three time All American Hammer Thrower.

Roy's construction journey began over 33 years ago, when he started working for his father as a carpet and ceramic tile flooring installer during summer breaks from school.  

 He has more than 18 years of experience in construction management, having held various roles such as superintendent, MEP coordinator, cost controller, project manager, and senior project manager. Roy holds a certification in Project Management from the most predominantly used Construction management software, Procore. His wealth of experience in construction management and general contracting has enabled him to successfully oversee numerous projects, ensuring efficiency and delivering exceptional results.

A significant milestone in Roy's professional life came when he ventured into entrepreneurship, owning, and presiding over his own business for a decade. His company not only provided additional profit for clients but also paid for itself throughout the process, a testament to Roy's business acumen and commitment to delivering value.

Giovanna Zezima's life journey is a testament to her strong family ties, academic achievements, and professional success. Born in the beautiful country of Italy, Giovanna embarked on an exciting new chapter when she and her family migrated to the United States.

Giovanna's passion for architecture was evident from an early age. She nurtured this interest through her education, starting at Stamford High School, where she began to lay the foundation for her future career. Her dedication and determination paid off as she graduated with high honors. 

 Giovanna has amassed over 25 years of experience in project management. Her expertise spans a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, critical clean room construction, intensive care units, operating rooms, retail, industrial, commercial fit-outs, and more. Her high attention to detail, dedication and leadership have left an indelible mark on the projects she's been involved with, earning her a well-deserved reputation for excellence in the field.

Andrew Caplan is a talented and accomplished individual whose journey has been marked by academic excellence, professional contributions to startups.  Graduating Fairfield University in 2021 with high honors, Black Bear is very happy to have an extremely capable IT professional on our team.
